About Johnny Trama
Johnny Trama has been an integral part of the Boston music scene for many years having spent time with John Brown’s Body, Entrain, Peter Prince, and Toussaint and the China Band among others. About Toussaint The Liberator
Speaking truths you’ve always known, that live in your bones, Toussaint the Liberator’s music pushes your soul towards conscious action from every direction. Building from an established musical career both solo and as the lead vocalist of Soulive, Toussaint has firmly planted himself in the soil of Boston, MA as a staple of the city’s music scene. He is the true embodiment of the lyrics he sings – a piercing voice in this time of pompous fantasy and materialistic buffoonery. Toussaint is a force within the worlds of art and activism, embodying these two elements as essential partners in effecting change in the world.
Toussaint’s music is at the intersection of American soul, reggae, and gospel. He does other things, I mean his expression covers the gamut. He can rap, he can sing, he can chant, he can do the spoken word, and he can beat the hell out of a drum! But what he does well is he touches people with his passion.
